SAPADERE CANYON

Sapadere Canyon is one of the must-see natural wonders for those who wish to escape the summer heat of Alanya and enjoy a refreshing atmosphere. Located in Sapadere Village, this remarkable canyon is an important destination for alternative tourism, measuring approximately 750 meters in length and about 400 meters in height.

Situated at the source of Sapadere Stream, the canyon has become an attractive tourism area with its steel-supported walking path, recreation area at the entrance, and country restaurant facilities.

Sapadere Canyon is located approximately 40 kilometers from Alanya and can be easily reached via the asphalt road through Demirtaş. About 300 meters inside the canyon entrance, there is a beautiful waterfall worth seeing, along with a natural pool suitable for swimming where the waterfall flows down.

A specially designed walking platform made of wood and steel allows visitors to walk comfortably inside the canyon. Built in a way that does not harm the natural environment, the platform can be removed when necessary.

While visiting Sapadere Canyon, you should also see the water mill and silk weaving workshop in Sapadere Village. Do not miss the chance to taste trout raised in the icy waters fed by melting snow from the highlands. Sitting in the riverside gazebos and breathing the fresh forest air, you will leave behind the stress and noise of the city.
